Tony and Dean made it their goal to fill an increasing need in the market for intelligent blinds to be sold, installed, programmed and integrated properly.

Project Manager

Has over 20 years experience in Project Management working with successful tech based companies. Dean works with the client or company to get the right Smart Shade System products to best suit their needs.

Certified Master Installer

Has over 17 years experience installing Window Covering treatments, a Certified Hunter Douglas Master Installer and Motorization Expert, and Somfi Expert.  He is considered a Smart Shade System Installation Expert with his renowned knowledge.

Our Mission

Smart Shade Systems has achieved it's goals two ways. The first, supply the best possible product at the most competitive price; and secondly, create a trouble-free process for home automation companies. For these reasons, we have grown to be a leader in automated motorized window coverings.

HunterDouglas selected us to carry their hardwired motorization line which is uniquely designed for automation integration. Only a very limited amount of dealers are actually authorized to carry this line.  The motorization designation should not be confused with HunterDouglas' battery operated PowerRise line, which Smart Shades also offers.

Smart Shades Systems believes in it's people and will only use Certified Master Installers who have achieved their motorization designation through HunterDouglas.  Experience, skill, and talent allows Smart Shades to handle all jobs from large automated commercial jobs to a theater room blind integrated into a universal remote.  Specializing in HunterDouglas does not mean we are exclusive to them.  We offer many of the other leading brands along with interior shutters and non-motorized blinds.
